    Social Media Coordinator II

    Communications

    8:00am - 6:00pm Monday through Thursday

    Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This position will assist in executing day-to-day social media activity and other digital projects.  The Social Media Coordinator II will be uniquely positioned to help the organization maintain a dynamic Social Media presence, while building a strong online community of brand ambassadors for the organization. 

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Curate, schedule and manage published content for use across Social Media platforms that support organization goals and objectives
    • Monitor, listen and engage with end-users to foster a sense of community online, interactivity, and develop brand loyalty
    • Deliver regular reports that analyze content performance across Social Media platforms with the ability to convey and interpret data to other business units
    • Maintain a working knowledge of Social Media trends, applications and industry best practices.
    • Works collaboratively with the Social Media Team to identify and interact with key influencers
    • Track and manage project deadlines and campaign deliverables
    • Creates or locates content for social media channels based on customer feedback and demand
    • Assists with the creation of marketing and communication materials
    • Makes proactive, data-driven suggestions to improve tactics and content on Social Media and other digital properties
    • Available to work after hours and off-site for events, and to moderate conversation across all Social Media channels

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

    • No direct reports

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Work experience equivalent to or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related fields
    • Willingness to take initiative, think creatively 

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Minimum 2+ years working experience in Social Media and Digital Marketing
    • Must have expertise in copywriting and editing abilities with a knowledge of search engine optimization and analytics
    • Demonstrated, advanced knowledge of Social Media and Digital Marketing principles
    • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
    • Skillful at the delivery of messages, both written and oral, with diplomacy and tact
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with a solutions-oriented attitude toward problem solving
    • Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors 

    EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

    • Standard office equipment 

    TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Able to lift 30 lbs
    • Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of eight hours per day
    • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones and other office equipment 

    TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:

    • Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans
    • Must be very organized and require minimal instruction

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Works in a normal office environment

    • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
    • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division
    • Must maintain a good attendance record
