    Web Developer III

    8:00am - 6:00pm Monday through Thursday



    As part of a team responsible for the design, develop, implementation and maintenance of KCM websites and related projects within the KCM guidelines.



    • Object-oriented PHP x and JavaScript development
    • Proactive engagement in project challenges and problem solving
    • Actively follow the latest developments in PHP, JQuery, Javascript, CSS, NodeJS and HTMLS
    • Communicate regular updates on a regular basis to the Lead Developer and other members of the project team, as well any other clients (KCM departments) or consultants
    • Database design including backup and restoring
    • Mentor Developer 1 and Developer 2 team members as needed 


    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or proven work experience of 5 years in same or related field
    • Experience with a major object-oriented PHP framework such as Symfony x, Symfony 3.x, Laravel or Zend 2.x.
    • Experience with a major database abstraction layer such as Doctrine or ZendDB
    • Experience with Bootstrap CSS/JS
    • Experience with web services (consuming and developing)
    • Experience with Git for version control
    • Experience in creating/using REST API
    • Previous leadership experience in a web development environment
    • Expertise with MySQL, NoSQL, writing SQL and database design
    • Experience with installing/configuring/deploying LAMP stacks
    • Experience with Development/Test/Production environment workflows
    • Experience with Drupal a plus
    • Experience with Wordpress a plus
    • Experience with Fabric Python a plus
    • Experience with another object-oriented language such as Java or .NET a plus

    • Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of seven hours per
    • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones and other office

    • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division
    • Must maintain a good attendance record
