    Line Service Administrator

    Aviation

    8:00am - 6:00pm Monday through Thursday

    (On-Call)

    Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This position will provide clerical and administrative support to the Maintenance Manager and facilitate the flow of communication between the Maintenance Department, Flight Department and Line Service Technicians. Will perform duties of a Line Service Technician participating in 24/7 on call rotating shifts.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supports Maintenance Manager with administrative duties
    • Supports Maintenance Manager with maintaining and updating accurate records regarding all aspects of aircraft service
    • Participates in “Line Service/On Call” responsibilities both covering flights and fueling aircraft
    • Submits, tracks and maintains accurate Departmental Requests such as Transportation, Building Maintenance, Shipping and IT as required.
    • Processes all fuel tickets and verifies accuracy
    • Keeps accurate files of purchases and transactions and be able to retrieve information when needed.
    • Maintains computer records from Flight Logs of aircraft housed at facility to satisfy both maintenance records and Accounting Department requirements.
    • Tracks and schedules technical and safety training.
    • Distributes all pertinent memos and correspondence to maintenance personnel.
    • Assists with the preparation of special projects to accommodate the specific needs of the Aviation Department.
    • Compiles aircraft status information and emails to key staff weekly.
    • Updates fuel prices on EPIC and Compass as needed.
    • Upkeep of accurate time records in KRONOS.
    • Reconciles credit card statements monthly.
    • Receives and distributes mail and packages.
    • Compiles reports for Accounting Department as needed.
    • Keeps job descriptions current.
    • Assist Aircraft Manager with special projects.
    • Communicates with Airport Manager maintenance schedules and NOTAM reminders.

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Education and Experience:

    • Vocational/Technical or Business School Degree.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in clerical or secretarial field.

     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Basic knowledge of aircraft language.
    • Efficient time management and multi-tasking abilities.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Computer literate with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Typing 45 WPM.
    • Must be able to pass and maintain currency in Line Service Training & Proficiency course.

    • Must be a born again believer and adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.
    • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions.
    • Must maintain a good attendance record.
    • Current Texas Drivers’ License and good driving record

    • Above average strength, endurance, dexterity and coordination
    • Able to Crouch, Kneel, bend, reach, and climb stairs
    • Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
    • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
