    HR Administrative Assistant

    Human Resources

    8:00am - 6:00pm Monday through Thursday

    Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY: Works under minimal supervision as the administrative assistant to the HR Manager. Provides support to all areas of the HR department. Acts as HR liaison with other ministry departments and Partners and Friends. Works with HR Manager on various tasks and projects. Performs a variety of administrative and clerical functions.

     

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Act as receptionist and greeter for HR
    • Answer multiple phone lines
    • Respond to inquiries and requests for information
    • Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
    • Maintain team member tenure service awards
    • Submit requests for payment, reimbursements, and credit card reconciliation
    • Notarize various documents for KCM team members
    • Update team member information in the HRMS and communicate as necessary
    • Maintain multiple calendars in Outlook
    • Complete employment verification requests
    • Sort and distribute all HR incoming mail
    • Assist Recruiting with onboarding new hires
    • Track and communicate terminations; schedule exit interviews
    • Create and maintain employee files
    • Assist in updating Team Member Handbook and Policy / Procedure Manual
    • Maintain company organizational charts
    • Serve as back up for other roles within the HR Department
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

               

    Education:

    • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

    Experience:

    • Minimum three years applicable working experience, preferably in a Human Resources environment

    Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:

    • People oriented with an attitude to serve others
    • Excellent telephone etiquette
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of callers, visitors, and team members
    • Detail oriented with a high rate of accuracy
    • Able to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
    • Working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Able to efficiently manage time and resources to plan and accomplish goals
    • Typing 45wpm preferred

    Other:

    • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
    • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
    • Must maintain a good attendance record

    N/A

     

    EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

    General office equipment including; computer, FAX machine, telephone, calculator, copier, printer, scanner, digital camera, badge printer, shredder

     

    TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of nine hours per day
    • Requires manual dexterity
