    Aircract Maintenance Tech 3


    Fourty hours a week (on call)




    Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and the Lead Aircraft Mechanic, performs inspections, preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and replacement of parts on assigned aircraft using methods, techniques and practices set forth by the aircraft or component manufacturer. Following the FAR’s and proper manufacture’s maintenance manuals or other instructions for continued air worthiness while ensuring compliance with AD’s.   Must possess an FAA Airframe and Power-plant certificate and provide own basic tools and tool storage. Participates in 24/7 on call rotating shifts. 



    • Inspects fellow Technicians work for aircraft airworthiness
    • Provide technical support to technicians
    • Ensure safety and company guidelines are followed
    • Provide support to maintenance manager and the Lead Aircraft Mechanic
    • Ensure all work is completed and performs final inspection
    • Ensures quality control for items being inspected
    • Ensure compliance with AD’s
    • Set an example of compliance with company Policies & Procedures
    • Inspects and repairs aircraft that are housed at facility as directed by Manager.
    • Uses time efficiently and completes work in a timely manner
    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
    • Displays a commitment to excellence
    • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
    • Applies feedback to improve performance
    • Prioritizes and plans work flow to ensure achieving established goals
    • Pre-flight and post-flight aircraft for outbound and inbound flights.



    •  Supervise work practices to Ensure Company Policies & Procedures are followed to ensure safety and aircraft airworthiness



    Education and Experience:

    • FAA airframe & power plant certification
    • Associated Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (preferred)
    • Have 5 plus years practical experience as an active aircraft maintenance technician with experience in the type of aircraft assigned
    • Proficient in all the areas listed under principle duties and responsibilities

    • Must be able to safely operate aircraft service equipment such as: auxiliary power unit; aircraft tug; power tools; mechanical hand tools/ paint spray equipment; tire/wheel maintenance equipment; electrical test equipment; and battery chargers.

    • Must be a born again believer and adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.
    • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions.
    • Must maintain a good attendance record.
    • Current Texas Drivers’ License and good driving record
    • Must be available by phone and/or text 27/7 when On Call



    • Above average strength, endurance, dexterity and coordination
    • Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
    • Must be able to work in small, confined spaces for long periods of time.



    • Must be able to analyze complex information, troubleshoot and determine work strategy to accomplish task assigned.
    • Must us preemptive thinking.
    • Must interact will with people at all levels.



    • Availability outside of normal work hours for rotating On Call schedule.
    • Extensive mandatory overtime may be required.
    • Must work in all types of weather conditions.
