    Executive Assistant - Education

    Eagle Mountain International Church

    8:00am - 6:00pm Monday-Wednesday and Sundays

     

    Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This position is responsible for providing executive assistance to the Chief Academic Officer and Senior Associate Pastor. Demonstrate administrative, leadership capabilities in support of the Christian education curriculum for Kenneth Copeland Bible College and other education initiatives for both, Eagle Mountain International Church and Kenneth Copeland Ministries. Facilitate and assists in the project management and administrative details of education and related areas as assigned by the CAO/Sr. Associate Pastor, including but not limited to task coordination, document planning and preparation, maintenance of calendars, and scheduling of appointments. This position reports directly to the CAO/Sr. Associate Pastor of Education.

     

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides administrative support to the Chief Academic Officer/Senior Associate Pastor of Education and helps to coordinate all related initiatives with decision-making privileges, as delegated
    • Provide effective and efficient clerical and office management for all day-to-day operations of the department; create and maintain efficient systems for management of administrative databases, office files and records
    • Facilitate connections for students, faculty and staff members with campus services and offices
    • Assists in establishing standards and procedures, research and recommend solutions to logistical problems and needs of school and students
    • Schedule, maintain the CAO/Pastor’s regular schedule, meetings and daily calendar
    • Attend and participate in staff meetings and serve on committees as required. Comply with all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives. Perform other related duties as assigned.
    • Coordinates, prepares in written form, and disseminates meeting agendas with other staff members. Preemptively prepares information needed for meetings
    • Manage catalog material between catalog revisions by tracking relevant curriculum committee actions and school decisions, making real-time updates, and organizing the material for the scheduled revisions
    • Manage and maintain all student files of KCBC, including general academic issues; and manage and maintain faculty files, including current curriculum vitae, performance reviews, and other academic materials
    • Provide assistance to the CAO/Senior Associate Pastor’s and faculty in preparing the course schedule, including confirming teaching times and availability of faculty and adjuncts
    • Responsible to assemble, organize and produce documentation for accreditation and internal program review reports as well as compile a variety of departmental statistic reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
    • Handle all arising situations that require immediate attention but does not need the CAO/Senior Associate Pastor’s input, and follows up on pending decisions
    • Provides approval for routine administrative requests in the department, such as check request, postage requests, tours, etc. as delegated by Pastor
    • Provide exceptional, relational customer service; promptly answer telephones and respond to e-mails, investigate student inquiries and direct students to appropriate KCBC services and assist those who do not require the Pastor’s direct involvement

    Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

               

    Education:

    • Bachelors or Associates degree preferred. High School Graduate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required

     Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
    • Type at or above 40 wpm
    • Strong organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills

    Other:

    • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
    • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
    • Must maintain a good attendance record
    • Must be a member of EMIC, regularly attend church services, and support the leadership of EMIC.
    • Must be a regular tither to EMIC.
    • Must possess a servant’s hear and operate as Armor Bearer.
    • Sensitive to needs of others, which includes a love and commitment to the members and congregation of EMIC and Kenneth Copeland Ministries staff.
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse groups of people, considerable skill and diplomacy in communication. Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside departments or groups.
    • Self-motivated and takes initiative. Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
    • Operates with pre-emptive thinking and must be discerning and able to make good judgment calls with minimum supervision.

    • Typical office equipment 

    YPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of seven hours per day.
    • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones and other office equipment.
    • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. 
    • TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:
    • Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans.
    • Must be very organized and require a modicum of instruction.
