Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists in the design and development of educational programs in alignment with the mission and vision of Kenneth Copeland Ministries/Eagle Mountain International Church and Kenneth Copeland Bible College. Assists in the design and implementation of course content and curriculum. Tracks student performance and outcomes. Assists in teacher training and development. Conducts assessment and analysis to identify and recommend educational programming that promotes the spiritual growth and maturity of the KCBC students, KCM Staff and EMIC Congregation. Assists in the pastoral care of KCBC students, KCM Staff and EMIC Congregation. This position reports directly to the Chief Academic Officer/Sr. Assoc. Pastor of Education. 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in the development, design, implementation and evaluation of curriculum for KCBC.
  • Assist in the development, review and implementation of curriculum for specific classes, seminars and training sessions for adults, from non-believers to ministry preparation for EMIC, KCM, KCBC and KCM-Employee Enrichment Program (EEP).
  • Assists in the provision of adult education (local and global) through the Believers’ Institute.
  • Coordinate with other schools and community resources to provide maximum opportunities for the members of EMIC to grow spirit, soul, and body.
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection and ongoing training of teachers.
  • Monitor and track student participation.
  • Evaluate and revise classes as needed.
  • Assist in the development of course catalogs and related education advertising.
  • Provide support to EMIC Pastoral Care Ministry as an educational resource.
  • Provide support to EMIC Connections/Assimilation process as an educational resource.
  • Assists in the pastoral care of KCBC student, KCM Staff and EMIC Congregation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Instructors, Assistants, Support and Volunteer Staff as needed

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Education or Biblical Studies preferred
  • BS Education, Ministry, or Counseling degree required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience: curriculum, teaching, training, counseling, or administrative coordination in education, ministry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience: pastoral or full-time ministry

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be licensed through Kenneth Copeland Ministries and abide by those guidelines
  • Analyze complex information.
  • Coordinate multiple scheduling of people and building.
  • Clearly communicate goals and priorities to various constituents, orally and in writing.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects or events
  • Clear ability to provide quality leadership to volunteers and staff members.
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationship inside/outside the organization

 TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to sit at a computer for a minimum of seven hours per day.
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones and other office equipment.

 TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans.
  • Must be very organized and require a modicum of instruction.
  • Must understand vague and implicit instructions, and react favorably in all work situations.
  • Must be detailed, organized and communicative.
  • Must be task and goal oriented.
  • Requires the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to grasp and apply new ideas.
  • Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions.
  • Must be able to discern spiritual situations, and be willing to pray with people.
  • Must relate and interact with people at all levels.
  • Must have good command of the English language and be able to proofread work.
  • Must have a sense of the workings of a ministry, and the demands physically, emotionally and spiritually of the staff and pastors.

 WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Works in a typical office setting.

 OTHER:

  • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
  • Must be a member of EMIC, regularly attend church services, and support the leadership of EMIC.
  • Must be a regular tither to EMIC.
  • Must possess a servant’s heart and operate as Armor Bearer.
  • Sensitive to needs of others, which includes a love and commitment to the members and congregation of EMIC and Kenneth Copeland Ministries staff.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse groups of people, considerable skill and diplomacy in communication.  Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside departments or groups.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative.  Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Operates with pre-emptive thinking and must be discerning and able to make good judgment calls with minimum supervision.
