Remittance Systems Lead

Mail Processing

8:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday

 

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Reports directly to the Remittance Processing Supervisor. Administers and directs new software development and modifications for the Mail Processing Dept.  

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain efficient and accurate mail processing by assigning and administering mail processed via RPS including scanned batches
  • Dispense work plan to Digital Mail Room Associates to ensure processing activities and avoid work backlogs
  • Ensure established cycle times for tasks performed are met daily/weekly/monthly
  • Works in conjunction with Remittance Processing Supervisor to accomplish set goals and standards according to departmental polices
  • Participates in meetings regarding workflow issues, general communications, and areas needing attention.
  • Assists in testing and compiling testing of new software development and modifications
  • Works in conjunction with KCM IT Dept and RPS Customer Support to resolve any issues
  • Responds proactively and promptly to Digital Mail Room Associates with questions and problems that arise during daily operations
  • Serves in a backup role for Remittance Processing Lead (Daily deposit; closing SE batches) when needed
  • Assist in the creation of and maintenance of documentation for testing and development
  • Responsible to aid in establishing a healthy working environment by maintaining a positive disposition, encouraging Team Members, and helping Team Members by providing constructive feedback on work evaluated
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Highly skilled in and knowledgeable of all aspects of Partner mail functions and regulations
  • Requires a minimum of one year experience in Partner Mail department
  • Demonstrated experience in MS Office Suites including MS Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated experience in RPS; SE; and OPEX systems

 

 

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

  • OPEX Mail Scanner
  • Standard Office Equipment

 

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to work overtime on an “as needed basis”
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
  • Must be self-motivated and dependable
  • Must be able to sit at workstation for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work a scheduled shift: 8:00-4:00; 8:30-4:30
  • Must be able to pull, push, stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, move or carry equipment

  • Sound knowledge of KCM organizational policies and procedures
  • Must be task and goal oriented
  • Must have good command of the English language
  • Must be detail oriented with a high rate of accuracy
  • Must be able to adapt well to changing work situations
  • Must be able to grasp and apply new ideas
  • Must be able to follow direction accurately
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division
