EMIC Special Events Childcare Assistant

Part-Time, Sun and Wed Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position supports childcare needs for EMIC events and services. This position works with minimal supervision and reports to the EMIC Family Pastor

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains a safe, orderly environment for the children following the EMIC student ministries procedures.
  • Responsible for preparation and cleanup of the classroom.
  • Exhibits care for the need of a child spirit, soul and body.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 16 or older.
  • Pastoral recommendation.
  • Previous and demonstrated childcare experience preferred.

 

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Able to lift 30 pounds. Flexible and agile enough to function in a normal classroom setting.

 

TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to communicate professionally under stressful conditions related to children/parents.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Classroom setting in a babysitting type atmosphere

 

OTHER:

  • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
