The EMIC Communications Manager is responsible for overall strategy, development, budgeting, and execution of the marketing and communication efforts of EMIC. This includes the presentation of image and all aspects of public relations to the EMIC Congregation, KCM Staff, local community, regional areas surrounding the ministry. This position is responsible for providing advertising expertise to the operational team. This position also includes some service production elements, advertising, direct mail, TV, management of EMIC internet media, and special event promotions. This position oversees the product development/advertising process from concept to implementation. Under the direction of the Sr. Operations Manager, the Communications Manager will work closely with the various EMIC and KCM Departments to carry out the goals and mission of EMIC.

Standard office equipment including PC & MAC computer, scanner, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, Adobe Creative Suite, FTP, etc.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines and equipment
Requires ability to sit 5 to 7 hours a day.
TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to grasp and clearly communicate the vision and life of EMIC. Must be able to handle quick problem-solving issues and clearly communicate professionally under time limits and budget demands. Handle matters decisively yet be unshaken by sudden changes or additions.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities with, at times, pressing timelines while maintaining positive relationships with co-workers.
